At the northern tip of the La Laguna municipality, Punta del Hidalgo is one of the most distinctive bathing corners of this rugged coast, with the Anaga massif behind you and, on clear days, Teide rising in the distance. The seawater pool has some depth and offers lifeguards, showers and adapted access. The volcanic scenery and open sea make for a swim with real character; check the sea state and tides before getting in, as the northern Atlantic swell can be strong.
