Volcanic natural pool on the northern coast of La Laguna, sheltered from the swell.
The Jóver natural pool is a seawater basin formed over volcanic rock on the northern coast of the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna. An arm of rock shelters bathers from the Atlantic swell.
It is a popular spot among locals for swimming in a natural setting, freely accessible and without tourist facilities.

Playa de Puntalarga
Playa de Puntalarga is a small bay on the coastline of Fuencaliente de La Palma, about a hundred metres long and twenty metres wide, with a mix of sand and callao pebbles. Small rocky outcrops shelter it from the sea and the swell stays moderate. A natural rock pool lies right beside the beach, and the whole corner is ringed by fishermen's huts, with fishermen often at work there.
