Hotel Boutique Palacio Ico
A four-star boutique hotel housed in a 17th and 18th century palace in the historic centre of Villa de Teguise, declared an emblematic hotel of Lanzarote.

Hotel Boutique Palacio Ico occupies a 17th and 18th century palace in the historic centre of Villa de Teguise, the former capital of Lanzarote. It is a four-star property that the Government of the Canary Islands has declared an emblematic hotel of the island. The restoration kept the original proportions of the rooms: there are nine of them and some reach 70 square metres, with beamed wooden ceilings around four metres high, original 18th century floors in mulberry and tea wood, and stone walls more than half a metre thick.
The building is laid out around a traditional Canarian courtyard planted with palms and subtropical species, which organises the movement between rooms and provides shade. The hotel has a restaurant, a bar, a café, a library, a furnished terrace, its own parking, a massage service and daily breakfast. Its position in the centre of Teguise puts the cobbled streets and historic buildings of the old town right outside the door, a compact area best covered on foot that accounts for much of the island history.
The hotel restaurant has featured in the Michelin Guide since 2023 and holds a Repsol Sun, and it won Best Hotel Breakfast in the Canary Islands at the 2025 Culinary Hotel Awards. The building was already a reference for the island's traditional architecture before its restoration: César Manrique included it in his book Lanzarote, Arquitectura Inédita (1973). A Balinese spa and the hosting of small weddings and celebrations complete the offer.
