Finca Marañuela (Bodega Ecológica)

Finca Marañuela is a family-run organic winery in La Perdoma (La Orotava), at about 400 metres above sea level in the north of Tenerife, active since 1972 and now in its fourth generation. It specialises in natural, minimal-intervention wines with no added sulphites and spontaneous fermentation, grown on volcanic soil with century-old, ungrafted pre-phylloxera vines.
The winery is certified organic, was the first Canarian winery to join the Spanish Regenerative Viticulture Association, and is a Slow Food Farm. The estate practises polyculture with its own coffee, bananas, sunflowers and tobacco. It offers small-group wine tourism visits of around two hours (maximum 8 people) and a small rural guesthouse, with bookings by phone or WhatsApp.
