Bodega Vulcano de Lanzarote
Family winery in Tías, on Lanzarote's singular volcanic terroir, where malvasía grows in pits of black lapilli; it offers guided visits and tastings.

Bodega Vulcano de Lanzarote is a family winery specialising in young wines, run as a boutique winery with limited editions and Canarian architecture. It was the first winery to keep its own must bank, stored at low temperature, allowing several fermentations a year to keep its wines fresh.
It works with varieties such as Malvasía Volcánica (the main native grape), Listán Negra and Vijariego, grown by hand in conical hollows covered with volcanic sand, a cultivation system unique in the world. Its wines include dry, semi-sweet and oak-aged Malvasía Volcánica, the organic Liquen range, a Blanc de Noirs, Vijariego Blanco, a rosé and the sweet Vulcano Dolce. Visits can be topped off with the Tour Vulcano experience, and the winery ships to the Canaries, mainland Spain and Europe.
