Leonard Slatkin returns to the podium of the Gran Canaria Philharmonic Orchestra with a programme that brings together three very different ways of understanding 20th-century music. Violinist Cho-Liang Lin is the soloist in Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto.
The programme also includes El Corpus Christi en Sevilla from Albéniz's Iberia, in Arbós's orchestration, and Rachmaninoff's Symphony No. 2. This is the seventh subscription concert of the season.
