The performance starts at 20:00 in Puerto del Rosario, with tickets from 20 €.
Rossini turned the Cinderella story into opera without a fairy godmother and without a glass slipper. Angelina lives as a servant in her stepfather's house until Prince Ramiro appears, having swapped places with his squire in order to find out who wants him for himself. She treats him with the same kindness she had shown to the disguised tutor, arrives at the palace ball as an unknown lady and then disappears, leaving a bracelet behind. The prince searches for her, finds her in her own house, and Angelina ends up a princess who forgives the family that mistreated her.
This is the second of two performances at the Palacio de Formación y Congresos de Fuerteventura, following the one on 19 November, and it begins at 20:00 with tickets from 20 €. The venue stands on Plaza del Centenario del Cabildo, beside Calle Eliseo Gómez Ordóñez in the middle of Puerto del Rosario, a few minutes on foot from the harbour and the seafront avenue.
