Gala de la Reina del Carnaval de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 2027verified

The Queen's Gala is one of the major events of the Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Carnival. According to the official Carnival website, it is a large-scale show performed in front of more than 4,000 people and broadcast live on national and international television. The candidates come on stage in the order set by the prior draw. The presenters, leading figures of the national scene, the musical contributions of major artists and the overture that opens the evening are the main draws of the night.

The 2027 gala takes place on Monday 8 February 2027 at 21:00, on the stage in Parque Santa Catalina, in the Santa Catalina-Canteras district of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The candidates' costumes, funded by the sponsors who enter the contest each year, are among the best-known images of the Carnival: the quality of the fabrics, the scale of the designs, their colour and their originality make this one of the most striking nights of the programme. The 2026 queen was Carla Benítez. The event is organised by Las Palmas de Gran Canaria City Council.
