BOBO, by Periferia Teatro, is a puppet show for all ages. At the South Pole lives the Pingüin family: Mum and Dad share the housework and the fishing, and little Bobo eats and plays all day long. But something is changing, and Bobo is about to have a surprising adventure: his parents have told him he is going to have a little brother or sister. Running time 50 minutes.
At the cold South Pole lives the Pingüin family. In the mornings Mummy Pingüin looks after the house and in the afternoons she goes fishing; Daddy Pingüin fishes in the mornings and looks after the house in the afternoons. And little Bobo does what he likes best: he eats and plays all day. But something is changing, and Bobo is about to have a surprising adventure: his parents have told him he is going to have a little brother or sister.
Direction is by Juan Manuel Quiñonero, who wrote the piece with María Socorro García; she and Ana Morcillo Lara operate the puppets, with music by Pedro Guirao and production by Periferia Teatro. The show is suitable for all ages and lasts 50 minutes, in a Sunday afternoon slot. Tickets from €9. The performance takes place at Teatro El Sauzal on Sunday 25 October 2026, at 18:00.
