Tenerife Top Paragliding
Tenerife Top Paragliding runs tandem paragliding flights in the Costa Adeje area, in the south west of Tenerife. It offers four options according to the take off point: Taucho at 800 metres, Ifonche at around 1,100 metres inside a protected natural area, a longer version from that same height, and Izaña at 2,200 metres with views over the Teide National Park. Flights are booked online.
All flights are tandem and are flown with a pilot. The take off from Taucho, at 800 metres, lasts between fifteen and twenty minutes and passes over ravines and mountains above La Quinta and the centre of Adeje. From Ifonche, at around 1,100 metres and inside a protected natural area, the flight runs up to twenty five minutes, and there is a longer version of thirty to forty minutes that heads out towards the sea above Adeje and Fañabé.
The Izaña option takes off at 2,200 metres and descends towards the coast in about forty minutes, with views over the Teide National Park, landing in Puerto de la Cruz or El Puertito de Güímar. The other flights usually land on La Enramada beach in La Caleta, depending on the weather. The company flies in groups of up to six people, collects and returns passengers at hotels in the Costa Adeje area, and films the flight on request.
