Scuba Sur Diving Gran Canaria
Scuba Sur is a professional dive centre at Anfi del Mar, between Arguineguín and Puerto Rico, in the south of Gran Canaria. Operating for more than 20 years, it runs guided boat dives, introductory dives for beginners, snorkelling trips and SSI and PADI courses from first level to Divemaster, always in small groups of no more than two students per instructor, with dive plans adjusted to the weather and the sea.

Scuba Sur Gran Canaria has its centre at Anfi del Mar in Arguineguín, in the municipality of Mogán, with its boat, the Yolo-II, moored right in front. From there it heads out each day to the dive sites of the south of the island: the centre has documented about 30 within half an hour by boat. Besides the boat dives, it offers a shore dive straight from Anfi beach, introductory dives with a certified instructor for anyone who has never dived, and SSI and PADI courses from Open Water to Divemaster, with no more than two students per instructor.
Nearby sites include the Mogán Wrecks, two artificial wrecks close to Puerto de Mogán that draw large schools of fish and rays; the natural reef of Pasito Blanco, with caves and volcanic rock formations where angel sharks and rays are often seen; and the shallow Arguineguín reef, suited to beginners. Divers can also meet barracuda, moray eels, octopus, cuttlefish and trumpetfish, in water between 19 and 24 degrees. The instructors plan each day around the weather and sea conditions, and anyone who would rather not dive can join a snorkelling trip.
