Lanzafly Paragliding
Lanzafly Paragliding runs tandem paragliding flights on Lanzarote with professional pilots holding international licences. After a short briefing and a joint equipment check, a few steps down a gentle slope are enough to take off and glide over volcanoes, lava fields, the coastline and the Atlantic. No experience or special fitness is needed, and children can fly with their parents' permission.

Lanzafly Paragliding offers tandem paragliding flights on Lanzarote. The team is made up of experienced professional pilots with international licences, full insurance and many years of flying on the island, and the company says it only flies in optimal conditions with modern, certified equipment. Before take-off there is a short briefing and a joint check of the gear; then a few steps down a gentle slope are enough for the wind to lift the wing, and the flight begins over volcanoes, lava fields, the coastline and the Atlantic Ocean.
There are several options: a flight designed for the youngest passengers, a calm glide over the island's cliffs and, for those after more of a thrill, a higher flight that circles up in the thermals. There is no strict age limit, although minors need their parents' permission, and passengers should weigh between 20 and 120 kilos. No technical skills are required; it is worth mentioning past injuries, heart problems, motion sickness or pregnancy in advance, and comfortable sports shoes, clothing suited to the season and sunglasses are all you need. The flight can be recorded in photos and videos taken with a selfie stick before, during and after it.
