Diving on the Moon Tenerife - Sea Trek
Diving on the Moon Tenerife offers Sea Trek helmet dives in Playa de las Américas, in Arona: you walk on the seabed breathing normally, with no diving licence or previous experience needed. The helmet is fed with air from the surface and keeps your head dry, so glasses can stay on. People aged 8 and over, non-swimmers and people with limited mobility can take part, always with a personal guide, at depths of up to 5 metres.

Diving on the Moon Tenerife is a family-run Sea Trek helmet diving centre on the coast of Playa de las Américas. Unlike scuba diving with tanks, the system delivers a continuous flow of air from the surface to a pressure-equalised helmet, so there is no mask and no mouthpiece, and your hands stay free. The weight of the helmet creates the typical bouncing walk, the feeling of walking on the Moon among fish and underwater landscapes.
The whole activity takes an hour and a half: first about 30 minutes of preparation and safety briefing, then 20 to 25 minutes underwater with a personal guide, at no more than 5 metres, and finally time to change and look through the photos of your dive. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel, and the centre stores your belongings. The team speaks Spanish, English, French, Italian, Romanian and Arabic, and points out that you should not dive on the same day as a flight.
