Dive College Lanzarote
A dive centre in Playa Blanca, at the southern tip of Lanzarote, operating since 2001. It is a PADI five star centre offering try dives, courses from Open Water up to Divemaster, daily guided boat and shore dives, and freediving. The centre sits right on the beach, so you step into the water from the shore itself with no transport to and from the dive sites.
Dive College Lanzarote has been running since 2001 in Playa Blanca, in the south of the island. Its beachside location shapes the activity more than anything else: as the centre explains, there is no transport to and from the dive sites, because you go straight off the shore towards a natural reef. They also work with two boats for dives made from the sea.
The range runs from a first contact with the water to professional training: try dives, PADI courses from Open Water to Divemaster, guided dives for certified divers and freediving, as well as excursions to the Museo Atlántico. The centre states that all its dives are guided by certified staff and that the team works in several languages, among them Spanish, English, German, Dutch, French and Italian.
