Blue Ocean Sports
Blue Ocean Sports runs outdoor activities on Gran Canaria by land and by sea: buggy routes through the island's moon-like, volcanic landscapes, jet ski safaris off the Maspalomas dunes and Can-Am Ryker rides along the coast and up into the mountains towards Mogán and Fataga. The trips are guided and include pick-up from your accommodation. The base is beside the GC-500 road at Tarajalillo, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
Blue Ocean Sports offers three guided activities on Gran Canaria. The buggy routes, on Yamaha vehicles, leave the built-up area behind to explore the island's moon-like, volcanic and tropical landscapes, with photo stops and the guide's explanations of the island's culture and history, before returning to your accommodation in Maspalomas. The Can-Am Ryker ride follows the coast towards Arguineguín, past Anfi del Mar, Puerto Rico and Taurito, then climbs through bends and mountains via Mogán, the Presa de Las Niñas and San Bartolomé de Tirajana, with views of Roque Nublo, to the Fataga viewpoint, in about two and a half hours.
The jet ski safari begins with a pick-up at your hotel and a transfer to the beach, where the guide gives a short briefing and lockers are available for your belongings. Out on the water, the route takes in the Maspalomas dunes and the beaches of Gran Canaria's south-west coast, at whatever pace each rider prefers, before the return to your accommodation in Playa del Inglés. Activities can be booked online or by phone, and combinations are also offered.
