Montaña Amarilla
Ochre volcanic cone with views in southwestern La Graciosa.
Montaña Amarilla is a volcanic cone of around 172 metres that rises by the southwest coast of La Graciosa, within the Chinijo archipelago. Its ochre, yellow and reddish tones contrast with the turquoise of the water and with the small Playa de la Cocina, a cove of golden sand and calm waters at its foot, ideal for swimming and snorkelling. You reach it on foot from Caleta de Sebo, about 6 kilometres along sandy tracks through the island's arid landscape. The cone is protected and climbing it is not allowed, in order to preserve the landscape and its wildlife.

It is reached by car from the village centre heading north, along the camino del Pinar.
