Casa-Museo y Monumento al Campesino
A Monument to Fertility over 15 m high by César Manrique with Jesús Soto, at the geographic centre of Lanzarote, beside a free-entry ethnographic museum.

In Mozaga, in the municipality of San Bartolomé, the Monument to the Peasant pays tribute to Lanzarote's farming culture. The sculpture Fecundidad, a work by César Manrique on the Peña de Tajaste, links the site to the island's agricultural landscape and to the relationship between art, territory and farming.
The Casa-Museo shows how housing, agricultural work and trades were organised around water and climate: patios, cisterns, threshing floors and wine presses, farming tools, camel saddles, a pajero and a soco. The Plaza de los Artesanos gathers traditional crafts. The architecture follows the Lanzarote style of white walls and green woodwork, and the restaurant serves à la carte Canarian cuisine with cheeses and wines from Lanzarote.
