PR-TF 6.3 Benijo - Cruz del Draguillo
Mountain trail in the Anaga Massif climbing from Benijo through dragon trees, laurel forest and lookouts over the Roques de Anaga.
One of Tenerife's busiest trails, this route in the Anaga Rural Park sets off from the hamlet of Benijo and climbs toward the Cruz del Draguillo through the oldest and wildest heart of the massif, a designated Biosphere Reserve. The path winds among centuries-old dragon trees, stretches of laurel forest and the wooden livestock gates of traditional herding, and its natural lookouts offer privileged views of the Roques de Anaga and the coastal hamlets of Almáciga and Benijo. It is a short but demanding route with notable elevation gain, perfect for anyone seeking volcanic scenery and humid forest close to the coast.
