Playa de la Cueva
Small dark-sand cove with usually calm waters, next to the old town of San Sebastián de La Gomera.

A stone's throw from the old town of San Sebastián de La Gomera, Playa de la Cueva is a small cove of dark sand and usually calm water, very handy for a quick swim as soon as you step off the ferry. Sheltered between rock walls, it is popular with locals and a good place to sunbathe without leaving the town. It is not big, but it has that neighbourhood-beach charm where life goes at an easy pace.
