Gomera Rent a Boat
A boat rental firm based at the harbour of Playa de Santiago on La Gomera. It hires out craft that need a licence and craft that do not, along with jet skis, kayaks and stand up paddle boards, and it also runs skippered outings, cetacean watching among them. Sailing the Gomeran coastline opens up coves and beaches that can only be reached from the sea.
Gomera Rent a Boat operates from the harbour at Playa de Santiago and presents the Gomeran coastline as the way to reach corners that stay hidden from land. The fleet splits between craft that need no qualification, such as the RIB 390 El Agujón, the Astec 410 La Catalufa and the RIB 430 La Palometa, and craft that do, among them the Dipol 511 Scooter Galana, the Rio 450 Sol Blanquilla and the Rodman 620 La Fula.
Jet skis, which also call for a licence, complete the catalogue, together with kayaks and paddle boards for moving about close to the shore. Anyone who would rather not take the helm can join the skippered excursions, including the outings devoted to whale and dolphin watching. The idea behind the offer is to follow the coast and drop anchor in coves and beaches that open only from the water.
