Playa de Alojera

On the western side of La Gomera, away from the busier routes, Playa de Alojera is a corner of dark sand and pebbles with an authentic feel, with rock pools and natural pools nearby. The sea is open and can bring swell, so it is best enjoyed for a walk, to watch the sunset or for a careful swim when it is calm. A quiet, uncrowded place to feel the most rural side of La Gomera.
