Finca El Cabrito occupies a century-old estate set in a green valley at the water's edge, in a corner of La Gomera reachable only by boat. The house has been restored with natural materials in keeping with its original surroundings, and has run as a cooperative since 1990, making it one of Europe's earliest agrotourism centres.
The kitchen draws mainly on the farm's own harvest: fresh fruit and vegetables, eggs from the hens and goat dairy, with a clear preference for zero-kilometre organic produce. The setting is ideal for hiking, swimming and slowing down, with a palm-shaded terrace plus yoga and massage on offer.
