Finca Santa Catalina
Restored former banana plantation in Hermigua, now rural houses with solar power, valley and sea views, near Garajonay.

Finca Santa Catalina is a cluster of rural houses in Hermigua, in northern La Gomera, on what a century ago was one of the most fertile banana plantations in the area. The houses have been restored keeping their original charm, with high ceilings and wood crafted by local carpenters.
It offers rooms, studios and villas with terraces and panoramic views of the valley, the sea and Mount Teide. It is a few minutes from the beach and a natural pool, and a quarter of an hour from Garajonay National Park.
