Mujeres are the Barcelona trio of Yago Alcover, Pol Rodellar and Arnau Sanz, with almost 15 years together. They started in the late 2000s with sticky garage rock and a self-titled debut (Sones, 2009), followed by Soft Gems (2012) and Marathon (2015), and on the EP Aquellos Ojos (2014) they sang in Spanish for the first time. With Sonido Muchacho they released Un Sentimiento Importante (2017), Romance Romántico (2019), Siento Muerte (2020), Rock y Amistad (2021) and Desde Flores y Entrañas (2023). In 2026 they bring a seventh album, with punk pop that celebrates everyday life, friendship and resistance.
They share the night with Middle Name, a four-piece from Tenerife with three and a half years as a band, ranging across alternative rock: indie rock, jangle pop, folk rock, post-punk, gothic country, soukous, dark cabaret and even cumbia. Tickets are on tickety from €13. The concert is at Aguere Cultural, Calle Herradores, La Laguna, on Saturday 12 December 2026 at 21:00.
