Within the Encuentros con el Patrimonio series, promoted by the Cultural Heritage Service, the talk La tierra y los saberes del pasado looks at traditional knowledge linked to the land and at the practices that shaped the everyday farming life of earlier generations. Led by Juan Miguel Torres Cabrera and Anastasio Martín Roger, it addresses the importance of preserving and passing on this knowledge as part of the cultural and ethnographic heritage of Fuerteventura.
The event is rounded off with the play Abuela, hazme una tafeña, performed by the Asociación Cultural Más Ruines que Caín, which brings the memory of popular customs and traditions back to life on stage. Admission is free. It takes place at the Biblioteca Insular de Gran Tarajal, on Calle Tindaya in Tuineje, on Tuesday 10 November 2026 at 18:00.
