Timaginas Teatro's version of Don Juan Tenorio revived the tradition of staging this classic around All Souls' Day in the province of Tenerife, and has been performed for sixteen consecutive years, each time with a sold-out sign at the door. The production brings together around twenty actors and extras who give life to Zorrilla's text, and it was broadcast by RTVE in the style of Estudio 1. Armando Jerez plays Don Juan Tenorio, a role he has performed for more than 25 years, and María Rguez, who co-directs with him, plays Brígida.
The performance takes place at the Teatro Leal in La Laguna, with numbered seating. Seats for people with reduced mobility are booked by phone or at the Teatro Leal box office. Saturday 31 October 2026, at 20:00.
