The main day: high mass, a procession with the municipal band, and malagueñas sung to the Virgin at the pottery centre.
At 12:00, mass celebrated by Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez, with singing by Raíces de Santiago del Teide. A procession with the municipal band follows.
As it passes the pottery centre, malagueñas are sung to the Virgin, and once in the square Dulce Barrios sings the Ave María.
The Arguayo pottery centre is not an incidental stop on the route: Guanche pottery is still made here by hand, without a wheel, the way it was made before the conquest.
