35th Athletic Floral Offering to the Virgen de Candelariaverified

Hundreds of runners arrive on foot from Santa Cruz de Tenerife at the BasĂlica de Candelaria to lay their floral offering before the patron saint. Organised by Med Salud Sport Canarias.
The 35th athletic floral offering is one of the best-known sights of the patron saint's day: hundreds of runners cover the distance from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to Candelaria to bring flowers to the Virgin.
They are due to reach the basilica at 10:00. Earlier, at 9:00, comes the reception of drums and the offering by the La GuancherĂa cultural association from Los Realejos. Organised by Med Salud Sport Canarias.
