Lava Fly Lanzarote
Lava Fly Lanzarote is a tandem paragliding operator based in Tahiche, on Lanzarote. Every flight is flown as a tandem: the passenger goes up with a qualified pilot who handles the launch, the flight and the landing, so no previous experience is needed. The equipment is provided by the operator, and the passenger only needs closed shoes and warm clothing for the air.

Flights follow the coast of the island, some six hundred metres above the lava cliffs, and in the right conditions the route brings La Graciosa into view. The operator works with seven flying areas, among them Risco de Famara, Mala, Playa de Orzola, Tenesar, Playa Quemada and La Asomada, and the choice depends entirely on the direction of the wind.
For that reason there is no fixed meeting point: it is agreed beforehand, once the forecast is known. At the launch site the pilot checks the equipment and the conditions before declaring the flight safe. The Lava Fly Lanzarote team has more than twenty years of flying behind it, photographs and video can be added, and outings for groups are arranged as well. Booking is required.
