Aquatis Diving Lanzarote
Aquatis Diving Lanzarote is a dive centre right on the beach at Playa de las Cucharas in Costa Teguise. It teaches within the SSI system, covering everything from a first try dive for complete beginners through to the Open Water, Adventure Diver and Stress and Rescue courses, plus specialities in wreck, deep and night diving. Guided dives for already certified divers are run as well.
The centre is run by Sam and Remi, its owners and instructors, and has more than twenty-two years behind it. Every member of the team speaks at least two languages, with Spanish, English, German and French all covered, so the theory can be done in one language and the water sessions in another. The dive gear belongs to the centre, which services and replaces it on a regular basis.
Guided dives are spread across more than thirty sites around the island: shore entries suited to newcomers, and wrecks and underwater caves for divers with experience. A pick-up service covers Costa Teguise, Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen, so a car is not needed to reach the centre. Bookings are taken through the centre's own website, by telephone or over WhatsApp.
