Mercadillo del Agricultor de Tacoronte

Founded in 1981 to give local growers a place to sell, the Tacoronte farmers market now runs more than a hundred stalls on the Tacoronte to Tejina road at kilometre 3.5. It fills up on weekend mornings with vegetables, fruit, wine, cheese, honey, gofio, meat, fish and bread from the Tacoronte Acentejo district. There is a children's play area on site, and the market holds Biosphere Sustainable certification.

It occupies premises on the Tejina-Tacoronte main road, beside the Auditorio, within the town of Tacoronte on the northern side of Tenerife.
