Mercado de Gáldar (La Recova)

The municipal market of Gáldar, known as La Recova, occupies a 1945 building on Calle Capitán Quesada, in the heart of the old town. Inside there are fruit and vegetable stalls, a butcher, a stall for organic produce and a bar cafeteria, stocked largely from the north of Gran Canaria. The entrance keeps its original iron railings, and the main gallery holds two allegorical sculptures by Juan Borges Linares.
