Senderismo La Palma is a guided walking service on the island of La Palma, based in Los Llanos de Aridane. It explains how a lava tube forms when molten rock keeps running beneath a crust that has already set, and it lets visitors walk a real section of those galleries. The surrounding landscape was reshaped by the Tajogaite eruption of 2021, which puts the story told inside into immediate context. Visits are made with prior booking.
A garden square in Los Llanos de Aridane created by the La Palma artist Luis Morera between 1993 and 1996, with the involvement of César Manrique. Pergolas, benches and low walls clad in ceramic mosaic organise the space around a stage of volcanic stone. The planting is made up of Canarian endemic species, and guided visits can be arranged.
