Iglesia de la Concepcion
The oldest church in Santa Cruz, the only one in the Canaries with five naves.

The mother church of Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion is the oldest church in Santa Cruz de Tenerife and one of the first built on the island after the conquest. The present building, from the 17th and 18th centuries, is the only one in the Canary Islands with five naves and features Mudejar ceilings and a striking white tower that has become a symbol of the city. Inside it houses the Cross of the Conquest that gives Santa Cruz its name.
