Finca de Osorio
A 204-hectare public estate of the Cabildo in Teror, inside the Doramas Rural Park, with laurel forest, educational trails and visits by prior permit.

Finca de Osorio is a 204-hectare public estate owned by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, lying within the Doramas Rural Park and spread across the municipalities of Teror, Valleseco and Firgas. It preserves remnants of the old Bosque de Doramas and is one of the most important surviving pockets of laurel forest on the island. The land mixes woodland with working farmland, and it offers educational trails and guided routes, among them a walk of about three and a half hours through forest and crops with panoramic views.
A permit must be requested in advance to visit. It is arranged through the official website of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria or in person at its office in Las Palmas, at calle Bravo Murillo 23; the information line is 928 219 229. Comfortable footwear is sensible for the dirt tracks, and the laurel forest is usually damp.
