Área Recreativa de la Laguna de Valleseco
A former seasonal lagoon among chestnut trees, with trails, barbecue picnic areas, a playground and a viewpoint; dogs allowed.

La Laguna Recreational Area lies within the Doramas Rural Park, on a former volcanic caldera covered in laurel forest, 2.5 km from the town of Valleseco (Gran Canaria), reached from the junction of the GC-21 and GC-30 roads.
The site is equipped for barbecues, with grills, water taps and tables, and includes the Aula de la Laurisilva shelter (capacity 50), a racecourse, a viewpoint over the Doramas Rural Park and the ascent trail to Pico de Osorio (968 m). Activities include hiking, environmental-education workshops, traditional games, zip lines, orienteering and birdwatching.
The surroundings are part of the reforestation carried out under the European Laurisilva XXI project and preserve a small lagoon with notable birdlife. Use of the facilities requires a permit from Valleseco Town Council.
