Centro de Interpretación del Árbol Garoé
Centre about the Garoé, the sacred tree that supplied water to El Hierro's ancient Bimbache people.

The interpretation centre recreates and explains the story of the Garoé, the tree that, according to tradition, condensed the moisture of the fog and supplied the Bimbache people with water. The visit covers the fog-water cycle, the island's aboriginal culture and the laurel-forest setting where the tree stands, in the San Andrés area.
