Playa de las Burras
Wide, calm water beach between San Agustín and Playa del Inglés, with lifeguards and a lively promenade.

Playa de las Burras is a broad sandy beach between San Agustín and Playa del Inglés, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Its sheltered bay keeps the water calm, which is why families with children favour it. There is a lifeguard service on the beach.
A busy promenade runs along the front and links it on foot with the neighbouring beaches, lined with beach bars, restaurants and hotels, so you can spend the whole day here without touching the car. It has over 2,100 Google Maps reviews with an average of 4.4 stars. This is established resort coastline: anyone after an empty cove should look elsewhere on the island.

Playa El Veril
Playa El Veril takes up the stretch of coast between San Agustín and the eastern end of Playa del Inglés, right below the Costa Canaria promenade. It is a run of small coves sheltered by volcanic rock spurs that break the wind and keep the water calmer than on the wide open beaches next door. The sand is dark and mixed with pebbles, so water shoes help. Showers, toilets, sunloungers and access ramps are all on site.
