Charco de Isla Cangrejo
Volcanic natural pool by Los Gigantes, sheltered from the swell by rock, very photogenic but delicate for bathing.
Charco de Isla Cangrejo is a lava-formed natural pool beside Los Gigantes, in south-west Tenerife. The dark rock shelters it from the open sea and creates a serene lagoon of great beauty. Bathing calls for caution, since at high tide and with strong swell it can be dangerous.
