Charco de Isla Cangrejo is a natural pool on the coast of Santiago del Teide, in the Isla Cangrejo development at Calle Magnolia, 4. A concrete wall shields it from the swell, so bathing here stays calm and suits families, and the surrounding rock offers room to sunbathe beside the water.
The surroundings are worth a walk, watching the waves break against the sea stacks that rise out of the water, and the sunsets are one of the attractions. A flight of steps leads down to the pool. Take particular care at high tide and when the swell is strong.
