What does a business get for free on Islas24?

Most small businesses in the Canary Islands, whether a tapas bar in La Orotava, a dive centre in Las Galletas or a craft shop in Teguise, have neither the time nor the money for a multilingual website of their own, and they may not even need one. What they do need is for people who are looking for them to find them, and to see the right phone number. That's what Islas24's basic plan is for, and it's free. Here's what it includes, and when it's still worth paying.

A listing in a four-language guide

Your listing sits in the Canary Islands guide, among nearly 1,800 places from all eight islands. The guide is read in Spanish, English, German and Hungarian. If your business is already in it, your listing appears in all four languages; if you create a new one, it appears in the language you write it in. Your location is on the map too: you give us the address, and we place the pin.

Photos and contact details

For free, you can upload up to five of your own photos and add your phone number, email address and social media pages. If anything changes, you update it yourself, even from your phone.

See how many people viewed you

On a claimed listing, we also show you how many times it has been opened. It's the first real number to help you decide whether it's worth putting more into it. The listings of our most viewed food and drink venues are viewed by several hundred people a month.

Already listed? You can claim it

Many businesses are already in the guide, they just don't know it yet. If you find yours, you can ask to claim it for free in a single step, and we'll review your request within 24 hours. We've explained it step by step here: you may already be listed: here's how to claim your listing for free.

Spotted a mistake? Let us know

At the bottom of every listing there's a “Spotted a mistake on this listing? Let us know” link. If an old phone number or the wrong address is showing, you can use it to tell us, even if you don't want to claim the listing.

Your events go up for free too

If you organise a concert, a market, a tasting or a workshop, you can submit your event to the agenda for free, without an account. Write it in any language, and we'll translate it into four. How it works and what to keep in mind: your event is for everyone, not just your followers.

In your customers' pockets, as an app

Islas24 can be added to the home screen of a phone, and it works like an app. There's nothing to download from an app store, and no need to sign up. Anyone who uses it this way can find you with a single tap.

No banners

There are no banners or third-party ads on the site. Whoever looks at your listing sees your place, not an advert next to it.

When is it worth paying?

The free level is enough to get started. Upgrade when your own numbers show it’s worth putting up your opening hours or your website too. The paid plans are billed monthly, and you can switch with no commitment:

  • Silver, €5 a month: up to 10 photos, opening hours, a contact form on your listing and detailed visit statistics.

  • Gold, €10 a month: up to 20 photos, a link to your website, opening hours, a contact form, detailed statistics and featured placement.

  • Featured badge, €5 a month: a badge and preferred placement for the period you choose, with any plan.

Try it with no risk: claim or create your listing for free and see how many people look you up. You'll find every detail on the Get listed on Islas24 page. If you'd like to see the full picture first: Islas24.info: Your Digital Presence in the Canary Islands.
