28th Esteban Ramírez de León Festival with Los Sabandeños in La Olivaverified
On Friday 16 October at 20:30 the church square in La Oliva hosts the 28th Esteban Ramírez de León Festival, with the folk groups Herederos de Chasna (Tenerife) and A.F. La Oliva and a performance by Los Sabandeños. Entry is free and it is part of the Rosario festivities. Afterwards there is a dance with the singer Flor until 3:00. The heart of the festivities is the square by the church of Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, in the centre of La Oliva.
The Esteban Ramírez de León Festival reaches its 28th edition as the folk highlight of the Rosario festivities in La Oliva. It is organised by A.F. La Oliva, with the Herederos de Chasna folk group from Tenerife, A.F. La Oliva itself and Los Sabandeños, one of the great names in Canarian music. It is organised by La Oliva council's festivities department, with the festival committee and the Asociación Cultural Raíz del Pueblo.
