“Xente”, street improv by The Momento Impro, in Vilaflor de Chasna (Canarias Improvisa)verified
The Galician trio The Momento Impro brings “Xente” to the square in Vilaflor de Chasna on Saturday 14 November at 12:00, as part of Canarias Improvisa. It is improvised street theatre: the stories come from passers-by, their gestures and conversations, and the square becomes the stage. Free admission.
The Momento Impro are Dani Blanco, Arturo Cobas and Antón Coucheiro, who have worked as clowns for twenty years and as improvisers for more than ten. They were part of TheMomento, a pioneering improv company in Galicia since 2011, and they bring two shows to Canarias Improvisa; one of them is “Xente”, made for the street.
In “Xente” the square becomes the stage and the people walking by become the protagonists. The stories grow out of the passers-by, what they talk about and how they move: what two strangers are arguing about, where a couple met, or why someone is talking to themselves. The show blends happening and street theatre with improvised theatre. The performance is on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 12:00 in the square of Vilaflor de Chasna, in the open air. Admission is free.
