The sixth edition of FICINDIE, the Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente y de Autoría de Canarias, leaves La Laguna and comes to La Palma on Saturday 17 October 2026 at 18:00, at the Real Sociedad Cosmológica in Santa Cruz de La Palma. La Palma writer and screenwriter Sandra Lorenzo, who sits on the festival's international jury, gives the talk «Cine independiente y conciencia»; according to La Palma Ahora, she and this year's jury will talk about independent cinema.
