Perdiendo el Juicioverified
Sergio Alamar brings Perdiendo el Juicio to the Teatro Chico in Santa Cruz de La Palma, a comedy show framed as a trial in which he pleads guilty to exaggerating and to giving opinions without doing his homework. His only defence is the audience's laughter, and at one point the roles are reversed: the audience and the comedian pass judgement on cases put forward by people in the room.
In Perdiendo el Juicio, the comedian Sergio Alamar takes the stand as the accused: he is charged with exaggerating and making things up in his pleas, with giving opinions without being informed and with laughing at things he apparently should not laugh at, and he pleads guilty to everything. Even so, every night he steps up to give his best version of the facts and his most controversial opinions, with a single argument in his favour, the audience's laughter, because on this night the truth does not matter, only whether the audience decides to acquit him.
At one point in the show the roles are reversed. There is an extra hearing in which anyone who wants to take part writes down their case, whether a couple's argument, a falling-out with a friend or anything else they want to put on trial, and the rest of the audience and Alamar himself deliver the verdict. Admission is free until the venue is full. The show is on Monday 26 October 2026 at 20:30 at the Teatro Chico (Teatro Cine Chico) on calle Díaz Pimienta in Santa Cruz de La Palma.
