Molinos de Paso, Pedro Ageno – III ENATIMverified
Pedro Ageno presents Molinos de Paso live, a project that starts from the timple and moves between roots music and elements of jazz, with room for improvisation. The five tracks recorded at the Manzanas studios in La Laguna are expanded with new pieces, some instrumental and some with vocals, linked by the idea of time passing. Part of III ENATIM, in Puerto del Rosario. Suitable for all audiences; free invitation with a 5 euro deposit.
Molinos de Paso began as an instrumental piece and went on to give its name to a five-track work recorded at the Manzanas studios in La Laguna. The name recalls the old mills of the Canary Islands, used for years to grind grain and make gofio. The recording features Gabriel Rodríguez (flute), Adán Moreno (guitar), Fernando Angulo (drums), Ayla Rodríguez (vocals) and Pedro Ageno (timple).
For the live show, Marta Rosa joins on percussion. The music blends roots and jazz: it starts from defined melodies and structures but always leaves room for improvisation, and the five original tracks are expanded with new pieces. It is part of III ENATIM and suitable for all audiences, with a free invitation and a 5 euro deposit. The concert is at the Palacio de Formacion y Congresos in Puerto del Rosario on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 21:00.
