Media Bimbache Trail 2026 (22 km): start at La Llaníaverified
The Media Bimbache Trail, the 22 km distance of the 7th Bimbache Trail Valverde, starts on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 11:00 from La Llanía and finishes in Valverde. A bus takes runners to the start from Valverde bus station at 10:00. It is one of the race's three starts: the long distance sets off at 09:30 from Las Playas and the Mini Bimbache Trail at 11:45 from San Andrés.
The Media Bimbache Trail is the 22 km distance of the 7th Bimbache Trail Valverde. It starts at La Llanía and finishes in Valverde, where all three distances of the race end. The programme lists aid stations at around km 10.7 (drinks and food) and km 15.7 (drinks), with a meal at the finish, and sets cut-offs for all distances at San Andrés at 14:00 and at the finish at 15:30. The organisers point out that some gear is mandatory and that, if it rains, several descents may be muddy, above all on the Ruta del Agua.
Race bibs are handed out on Friday 13 November from 17:00 to 21:30 at the Casino de Valverde, Calle San Francisco 8, and at every start a vehicle takes runners' belongings to the finish. After the race participants get a meal from 12:30 to 16:00 at the same casino, and from 12:00 to 16:00 the showers at the Centro Deportivo de Valverde and a physiotherapy service are open; medals and trophies are presented at around 17:00 in front of the casino. The long distance starts at 09:30 from Las Playas and the Mini Bimbache Trail at 11:45 from San Andrés.
