Leo & Leoverified
Leo & Leo brings together Leo Sidran and Leonor Watling, friends for more than fifteen years. After their paths crossed in Vitoria in 2023, they shaped a repertoire of Sidran's songs sung by Watling with The Groovy French Band, recorded in September 2024 at Estudio Uno in Madrid, with songs from his career and new compositions. A concert of the Otoño Cultural CajaCanarias 2026 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The artistic partnership between Leo Sidran and Leonor Watling grew out of a friendship of more than fifteen years and a creative affinity that finally found its place in a shared project. For years the two musicians talked about working together, until their paths crossed in Vitoria in 2023. That meeting led to a collaboration built around Leo Sidran's songs, performed by Leonor Watling with The Groovy French Band.
The project took shape in September 2024 with a recording made at Estudio Uno in Madrid, where the two recorded a selection of songs from Sidran's career alongside new compositions written for this project. The concert is part of the Otoño Cultural CajaCanarias 2026 at the Espacio Cultural CajaCanarias in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with tickets on sale. It starts on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 20:00.
