Juego del Palo cultural sessions: the «55 years of the CUPC» book and the intangible heritage bidverified
The Sala Cristal of the former Santo Domingo convent hosts the cultural sessions of the 2nd International Juego del Palo Meeting on Saturday 14 November, from 17:00 to 19:30. At 17:00 the book «55 years of the CUPC (1971-2026)» is presented, and at 18:00 comes the initiative to have Canarian juego del palo declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Free admission.
On Saturday 14 November 2026, from 17:00 to 19:30, the Sala Cristal of the former Santo Domingo convent hosts the cultural sessions of the 2nd International Juego del Palo Meeting «Ciudad de La Laguna».
There are two items on the programme. At 17:00 the book «55 years of the CUPC (1971-2026)» is presented, covering the history of the university collective for Canarian palo. At 18:00 comes the initiative seeking recognition of Canarian juego del palo as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Admission is free.
