Inauguración del Carnaval de Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2027 - Roma Eterna: El Imperio del Carnavalverified

The opening gala officially launches the Carnaval de Santa Cruz de Tenerife 2027, whose theme is Roma Eterna: El Imperio del Carnaval, forty years after the Roman edition of 1987. It takes place on Friday 22 January 2027 at 21:30 on the Plaza de España, bringing the start of the carnival forward compared with previous years and opening the calendar of contests and galas.

The stage is set up on Plaza de España s/n, 38003 Santa Cruz de Tenerife, right on the capital's seafront. This is an open-air street event with open capacity.
