Flu: prevention is better than cureverified
A flu prevention workshop at the Centro de Desarrollo Turístico Costa Adeje. Faustino Afonso, a family and primary care doctor, covers the main seasonal infections and how to prevent them, with particular attention to the flu vaccine, answers common questions about the vaccine and adds basic advice on hygiene and self-care. Free and open to the public; registration is required.
The workshop looks at the main infections typical of the season and how to prevent them, with particular attention to flu vaccination as a protective measure. Common questions about the vaccine will be answered, complemented by basic recommendations on hygiene and self-care.
The session promotes individual and collective responsibility in the face of these illnesses. It is given by Faustino Afonso, a family and primary care doctor, as a training activity of the Health and Quality of Life Department of Adeje Town Council, open to the public. It is free of charge and requires registration. It takes place at the CDTCA on Thursday 3 December 2026, from 18:00 to 19:30.
